Encore Bridal's Dress of the Week

Just received this Judd Waddell wedding gown (7402) which inspired me to add another "Dress of the Week" post. I just love this gown. It is so feminine and versatile. Perfect for a garden wedding or at a more traditional lavish affair--just depends on the accessories chosen. Being designed from a silk blend also makes it more affordable. Gotta love that. Today, this would be my dress, with a pearl necklace and shrug at the ceremony and then changing to a pair of great chandelier earrings (probably by Tejani) at the reception. That's today, I'm sure my mood will chnage by next week. Gown available at http://www.encorebridal.com/ under "New Arrivals"

THE LA Bridal Show of the Year

Another great showing for Soolip and the vendors at "A Soolip Wedding 2008"--the best bridal show of the year in LA. Smaller this year, but filled with some of the best in the bridal industry. Above is a picture of me in the Bridal Bar booth standing next to the unbelievably gorgeous Elie Saab gown for sale in our e-Boutique, http://www.encorebridal.com/. Here are some of my favs from this show:

**Carolina Herrara fashion show out in the courtyard of St. Vibiana's. Truly some show-stopping gowns.

** Nancy Kay's Confections...yummy cakes!

**The Bridal Bar and Classic Party Rentals--not because I'm associated with the Bridal Bar, but because they had a real eye catching booth. Love the flower chandelier.

**Vanilla Bake Shop--out went my vow to eliminate dairy and wheat from my diet for a taste of their cupcakes and I'm oh so glad for the moment of weakness.

*St. Vibiana's--no picture, but really a unique event space worthy of consideration for your wedding or event. It is a former Archdiocese cathedral built in 1876, and is the last standing building in Los Angeles dating from the 19th century. After a multi-million dollar restoration, this grand and opulent space has quickly become one of Los Angeles' newest and most desirable event venues.
