Encore Bridal's Dress of the Week

Just received this Judd Waddell wedding gown (7402) which inspired me to add another "Dress of the Week" post. I just love this gown. It is so feminine and versatile. Perfect for a garden wedding or at a more traditional lavish affair--just depends on the accessories chosen. Being designed from a silk blend also makes it more affordable. Gotta love that. Today, this would be my dress, with a pearl necklace and shrug at the ceremony and then changing to a pair of great chandelier earrings (probably by Tejani) at the reception. That's today, I'm sure my mood will chnage by next week. Gown available at under "New Arrivals"

THE LA Bridal Show of the Year

Another great showing for Soolip and the vendors at "A Soolip Wedding 2008"--the best bridal show of the year in LA. Smaller this year, but filled with some of the best in the bridal industry. Above is a picture of me in the Bridal Bar booth standing next to the unbelievably gorgeous Elie Saab gown for sale in our e-Boutique, Here are some of my favs from this show:

**Carolina Herrara fashion show out in the courtyard of St. Vibiana's. Truly some show-stopping gowns.

** Nancy Kay's Confections...yummy cakes!

**The Bridal Bar and Classic Party Rentals--not because I'm associated with the Bridal Bar, but because they had a real eye catching booth. Love the flower chandelier.

**Vanilla Bake Shop--out went my vow to eliminate dairy and wheat from my diet for a taste of their cupcakes and I'm oh so glad for the moment of weakness.

*St. Vibiana's--no picture, but really a unique event space worthy of consideration for your wedding or event. It is a former Archdiocese cathedral built in 1876, and is the last standing building in Los Angeles dating from the 19th century. After a multi-million dollar restoration, this grand and opulent space has quickly become one of Los Angeles' newest and most desirable event venues.
